LOS ANGELES, Calif./ACCESSWIRE/February 7, 2022/ Clean Vision Corporation (OTCQB:CLNV), a global holding company that acquires and operates sustainable clean technology and green energy businesses, announced today that it has opted for cutting-edge hydrogen fuel cell technology as a crucial next step towards demonstrating its ability to store its clean hydrogen — AquaHMT produced from its pilot pyrolysis plant – which should lead to large-scale commercialization.

The Company plans to customize this advanced fuel cell (technically, a “low-temperature PEM pure hydrogen fuel cell electric power generator”) to install it with its Hyderabad Pyrolysis Pilot Plant which is developed in accordance with its agreement with the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT). Clean-Seas recently upgraded its plastic waste-to-energy technology to produce hydrogen as a valuable end product to improve the economics of its technology.

This fuel cell should allow Clean-Seas to provide a complete end-to-end solution: producing converted energy from a plastic waste stream and supplying clean electricity to an end user. The combination of pyrolysis and fuel cell technologies gives Clean-Seas a disruptive advantage as it enters the 125 billion dollars of hydrogen economy. The pilot plant is expected to be installed in Hyderabad in March.

Kingsberry Terms of Service and License

Clean Vision opted for the fuel cell technology of Kingsberry Power, who spent 12 years developing and patenting the technology largely funded by $10 million in US and state government (DARPA, DOE, etc.) sponsored research grants. Following its preliminary R&D and its collaboration with Kingsberry to adapt the fuel cell to the electricity produced by its pyrolysis plant, the Company plans to convert its option into a license agreement.

Under the terms of the license agreement, Kingsberry grants Clean Vision:

  • Exclusive intellectual property rights and worldwide distribution, excluding Canada. While Clean Vision commercializes the technology, Kingsberry retains a subordinate right to white label and commercialize it in the United States.
  • A five-year term with renewal rights at the discretion of Clean Vision
  • On-site technical support for custom fuel cell design for its Hyderabad pyrolysis plant
  • Ongoing worldwide technical support for the fuel cell throughout the life of the license

Although financial terms are not disclosed, the licensing fees to be paid to Kingsberry are heavily weighted by the commercial revenue and profitability of the IP when Clean Vision markets it as an integral part of its pyrolysis plants to be built in the world in clean seas.
